Zak Kuczynski has been in the foodservice industry since 1993. A graduate of the nationally recognized Schoolcraft College Culinary Arts program, where he trained under multiple Certified Master Chefs, Zak built a foundation in classical technique before expanding into modernist cuisine, charcuterie, and culinary technology.

Zak served as Corporate Executive Chef and Director of Culinary at TurboChef Technologies, where he led a team of nine chefs and collaborated closely with engineering teams on product research, design, and field application. His work took him internationally across more than a dozen countries, supporting global culinary development and commercial execution. He later served as Executive Corporate Chef at Sargento Foods, where he designed and consulted on the build of the company’s Recipe Development Lab, received the Chairman’s Award for innovation and performance, and earned Brand Ambassador recognition for excellence in customer collaboration.

Throughout his career, Zak has worked alongside Chef Brian Polcyn and contributed to multiple culinary book developments with Michael Ruhlman, as well as participating in media and culinary segments. He served as a culinary consultant for Universal Pictures’ The Five-Year Engagement, working with actors Jason Segel and Chris Pratt and supporting on-set culinary authenticity, working as a body double for hand and arm shots for Jason, and even an uncredited acting/on-screen role as a chef, himself.

Today, as Corporate Executive Chef at Jeneil Biotechnologies, Zak focuses on fermentation, natural dairy and plant-based flavor systems, and translating complex food science into scalable culinary applications. He also develops media and production projects through Golden Goose Studios and continues creative consulting through Zak of All Trades with video editing and UAV/Drone work.
